Greenwoods Camp for Boys is located in southwest Michigan, on the shores of Lake of the
Woods, adjacent to its sister camp. Director Dayna Hardin believes that Greenwoods should
promote individual growth and achievement for every boy. Since 1935, the camp has been
offering an outstanding experience in a safe, exciting and non-competitive environment.
The mature counselor staff, most over 21 years of age, is dedicated to making the campers'
experience enjoyable and memorable. Boys establish enduring friendships with their
counselors that last throughout the years. The focus of the program is to foster the
confidence and enjoyment that come with progress. Based on his interests, each camper
designs a customized activity program from over forty offerings. This guaranteed schedule
of activities is a special feature of Greenwoods.
The Greenwoods campus includes facilities for all team sports, Western and English riding,
tennis, low ropes course, climbing tower, outdoor living skills, go-carts, computers and
creative arts, as well as a 6-hole, par 3 golf course. Greenwoods offers boys opportunities
to enjoy team and individual sports without the pressure of intense competition. The
extensive lake front is a highlight of the camp, and boys receive top-quality instruction
in swimming, water skiing, wake-boarding, knee-boarding, sailing, windsurfing and boating.
Exciting special events and out of camp adventure trips round out the program.
At Greenwoods Camp, boys develop confidence,
learn new skills, make lifelong friendships,
and, most of all, have fun!
