The caring, nurturing ambiance of Kippewa sets a girl at ease with who she is, giving her the confidence to make friends easily and
feel comfortable about trying challenging new activities. Everything at camp is individualized, from the way we help your daughter
adjust to camp to the scheduling of her activities.
The individualized elective program features

- Summer Arts Program with comprehensive
- Fine Arts & Crafts (painting, drawing and photography, pottery, needlecrafts, knitting, textile arts, silk-screening, leather tooling, jewelry making, woodworking and stained glass)
- Dance and Theater
- Great, individualized tennis instruction
- Watersports including swimming, waterskiing, wakeboarding, sailing, windsurfing, canoeing and kayaking
- friendly games of soccer, softball and volleyball
- special events, outdoor adventures, wilderness trips and traditional color war and campfires.
We are fortunate to have our brother camp, Camp Cobbossee for Boys, less than 1/4 mile away on the shores of Cobbosseeconte. Each camps programming is separate, so that our campers receive a true, girls-camp experience. Siblings and cousins who attend the two camps can visit regularly, and boys and girls in the same age groups have the opportunity to get to know each other in socially appropriate, low-key camp activities.
