Founded more than seventy years ago by Joe Kruger, a pioneer in camping, Camp
Mah-Kee-Nac is among the finest boys' camps in the country.
Mah-Kee-Nac is known for its warm, caring environment, where boys are encouraged
to explore their interests. The staff promotes friendship, fun and personal accomplishment.
The program offers individual instruction in all sports and aquatic activities, as well
as options, which include high ropes course adventure center, golf, mountain biking,
computers, radio technology, rocketry and many special events.
Mah-Kee-Nac's facilities feature an indoor basketball arena, recreation hall, heated
pool, media center, and well-manicured athletic fields and courts. Located in the
heart of the Berkshire Mountains, Mah-Kee-Nac offers boys out-of-camp excursions,
including historic Boston, Montreal, Basketball Hall of Fame, Baseball Hall of Fame
and overnight camping trips.
Along with their outstanding staff of professionals, Directors Chris and Lynn Roy continue the
Mah-Kee-Nac tradition of developing athletic skills and camaraderie.
