Our unique professional development program identifies and nurtures outstanding staff members and trains them for
leadership positions in camping. The program provides comprehensive and systematic exposure to the skills needed to
successfully oversee the management and operation of a premier private summer camp. Experiences include teaching sessions
in which senior camp directors teach on a particular topic and frequent best practices workshops during which camps come
together to exchange knowledge and practices. The company also holds two retreats each year which include instruction in
camp management and best practices sharing. The program is customized to meet the professional growth needs of future
directors with varying levels of camp experience. Thus, CampGroup has the flexibility to seek and train potential Camp
Directors from within and outside the camp industry.
